Spanish soprano Eteri Lamoris was born in 1973 and came from Georgian family of a great musical background. She studied with her mother a famouse opera singer Lamara Chkonia, in Vienna with Renata Scotto and Ruthilda Boesch, and in Higher School of singing in Madrid with Dolores Ripolles - a pupil of Elvira Hidalgo.
Eteri Lamoris was awarded at nine international competitions. Seven of them were first pizes. She also earned a special award: The Public prize of Vienna State Opera together with Jose Cura. The Spanish critics regard her as a "Genuine pearl of the opera world".
She performed in the opera productions and theaters of Busetto at the Verdi Opera Festival ("Rigoletto", "Otello") Bilbao, Arriaga ("La Traviata", "Carmen", "Orfeo and Euridice", "Rigoletto" with Alfredo Craus, Marco Armiliato, Denis Graves and others). After her debut in the role of Musetta in Franco Zeffirelli's La Scala production of "La Boheme", she performed in the main theatres of Madrid, Naples, Torino, Nice, Trieste, Los Angeles with Luciano Pavarotti and Mirella Freni, Fiorenza Cedolins, Roberto Alagna and Angela Gheorgiu.
